    El “Carbono Azul” es el carbono asimilado y almacenado por los ecosistemas marinos y costeros como humedales, marismas, manglares, y praderas marinas. Las características de estos ecosistemas, les hace ser un gran sumidero de carbono natural.

    Este taller de tres días, que tendrá lugar entre el 15 y 17 de septiembre de 2020 en formato “online”, está diseñado para consultores ambientales, técnicos y gestores ambientales de entidades públicas y privadas, áreas protegidas, organizaciones y municipios, interesados en la restauración de ecosistemas costeros. Tiene como objetivo desarrollar la capacidad de los participantes en distintas actuaciones, que además de restaurar y conservar estos importantes ecosistemas, sirven para capturar CO2, ayudando, por tanto, a mitigar el cambio climático.

    Contaremos con ponentes invitados de España, Italia y Holanda que aportarán sus conocimientos a este taller de sus conocimientos actuales trabajando con nuevos enfoques para la restauración de praderas marinas y humedales costeros. Con el tema principal de la restauración de humedales costeros y praderas marinas como herramientas de gestión, el taller guiará a los participantes a través de la planificación, diseño, desarrollo y mantenimiento de estos ecosistemas.

    This three-day workshop, which will take place between September 15 and 17, 2020 in the format “Online” is designed for environmental consultants, technicians and environmental managers of
    public and private entities, protected areas, organizations and municipalities, interested in the restoration of coastal ecosystems. It aims to develop the capacity of
    participants in different actions, which in addition to restoring and conserving these important ecosystems, serve to capture CO2, helping, therefore, to mitigate climate change.
    We will have guest speakers from Spain, Italy and the Netherlands who will contribute their knowledge to this workshop of your current knowledge working with new approaches
    for the restoration of seagrasses and coastal wetlands. With the main theme of the restoration of coastal wetlands and seagrasses as management tools, the
    workshop will guide participants through planning, design, development and maintenance of these ecosystems.
