On the 14th and 15th December we took part in the II International Meeting between Investigators which took place in the Technological Campus of Algeciras, as part of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.

This event was focused on the sistemic analysis of the sustainable development goals, known as SDGs.
In gneral terms, the matters addressed were gender equality, quality of education, clean water and sanitation rights, underwater life and industry-innovation-infrastructure.

In this meeting, the LIFE BlueNatura project was presented in relation to the topic of underwater life conservation, due to the serious state of seagrass beds and their importance as carbon sinks.

We are very glad we took part in the different presentations at this event and we were able to raise awareness of these particular global issues.
