La reunión del Grupo de trabajo científico internacional sobre carbono azul se celebró en octubre en Ibiza, España. La reunión se centró en el carbono azul en la región mediterránea, incluidas las costas atlánticas y bálticas europeas, haciendo hincapié en la comprensión actual del carbono azul en la región y apoyó el desarrollo de una red mediterránea de carbono azul.

El socio IUCN-Med fue el encargado de exponer los objetivos y resultados del proyecto

The International Blue Carbon Scientific Working Group meeting was held in October in Ibiza, Spain. The meeting focused on blue carbon in the Mediterranean region, including the European Atlantic and Baltic coasts, with emphasis on surveying current understanding of blue carbon in the region and supported the development of a Mediterranean Blue Carbon network.
The partner IUCN-Med exposed the objectives and results of the project.
